2027 CSA Share

NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT
This is a non-refundable deposit to reserve your place in our 2027 CSA program, and lets you lock in your 2027 membership at the 2026 price. The remaining balance will be due by April 1.

WHAT YOU’LL GET
For 20 weeks, from May 15th to September 25th 2027, you'll receive a weekly vegetable share with a variety of produce items. Half share members will receive 4-6 items each week, and full share members will receive 6-10 items. The items in your share will reflect what's growing in the field, so early weeks will contain greens and other cool-weather crops while mid-season weeks will contain market staples like tomatoes and cucumbers. Some weeks will have more items than others, hence the range of 4-6 items. But in every week, we’ll be packing the best of what we have for our CSA members first, the supporters who have invested directly in the success of the season and the farm as a whole. Members will also receive a weekly newsletter with updates about the farm and recipes that utilize the vegetables in each share.

PICKUP LOCATIONS
You’ll pick up your share every Saturday at either the Zionsville Farmers Market (8-11:30am) or Bloomington Farm Stop Collective (5:30-6:30pm). Simply select your pickup location and the date of Saturday, May 15th when checking out, which will be the day of your first CSA pickup at the location you chose. Your confirmation email will mention Saturday pickup, but just remember that the CSA program will not begin until Saturday, May 15th, 2027.

CSA EXPECTATIONS
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. CSA programs are mutually beneficial to both farms and their customers. For farmers, they help offset the cost of seeds, soil amendments, tools, supplies, and other items that the farm must purchase before the growing season actually begins. For customers, these programs provide a way to enjoy and share in the seasonal abundance of what the farm is growing on a weekly basis, and to learn more about where their food comes from. As a CSA member, you will share in the bounty of Hidden Pearl Farm’s season, as well as the risk of crop failure or other unforeseen circumstances that may affect the harvest and farm’s production. This risk is inherent to the enterprise of farming. Hidden Pearl Farm will be transparent about the season’s progress and any crop failure, and should failure occur, endeavor to replace any item that may be unavailable with another item that is in-season.

COMMUNICATION
After purchasing your CSA share, you’ll receive an email welcoming you to the program that outlines further communications for the season.
